MossCreek recently traveled to Priest lake, ID to take scouting shots for a recently completed timber frame home on Priest Lake within the national forest. These photos were taken as a precursor for a more formal photo shoot by a major home publication. The home was designed for a couple from the Seattle area and is used as their summer weekend home. The design features a traditional German cradle frame, giving it a highly unique look. The walls are “half timbered” which means the reclaimed Douglas Fir timber frame was first erected and the exterior walls were built between the post and beams of the primitive frame style.
